Jay co-founded SRMC in 2015 to design and manufacture wireless personal communication devices for the ISM band. Jay has over 35 years of commercial and Department of Defense experience in technical and project management positions. He has served in technical and management positions in projects ranging from mathematical transportation cost modeling to disk drive hardware interface design and development to graphic display device driver development to Information system design and implementation to submarine system performance monitoring. He brings this unique set of skills to the company as it expands from its core capabilities in ad hoc wireless communication into software defined radio and cognitive network product development.

Mr. Tolbert, Co-Founder of SRMC, had professional experience in Electronics Engineering, Project Management and Program Management spanning over 40 years. He held a variety of positions in the Space industry, Micro-electronics industry and United States Government. His challenging career started in high profile programs and through the years each assignment became more challenging. The experiences started in 1969 in corporate America and evolved with technology changes to the disciplines of Space Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Business Accounting, Marketing and Program Management. Along this path, he also gained Military training and experience in telecommunication equipment. He brought his set of skills from a variety of management and technical capabilities.
